Even though every day is a first in some ways, we celebrated our first halloween as a family of three this year. Matt had to work night shift so we took Brooksly to a Trunk or Treat at a local church near our home. We were so fortunate that Matt's parents and Nana were able to spend the weekend with us. It was so much fun to dress her up like Minnie Mouse. She was so cute. I wish my family had been able to be here with us too. It's so hard living so far away from our family.
